REVEALED comprises of three projects and includes a fine-art book and a film

I presented my subjects with a small wooden box and asked them in advance of the photography session to bring items that represented their spiritual experience in which to fill the space.

Rhode Island Public Radio’s (RI’s NPR) This I Believe – Rhode Island and  REVEALED  are two projects that merged and complement each other to create the This I Believe  REVEALED project.

REVEALED Class

A REVEALED inspired workshop created for children and adults in a classroom or workshop setting.

REVEALED: Personal Visions of Transformation and Discovery

REVEALED is an exploration of self - a glimpse into the spiritual expressions and personal beliefs of the participants. Using individual portraits and short personal essays, Scott Indermaur has created a one-of-a-kind photographic series that uncovers what lies beneath the surface in each of us.

In giving its subjects the time to reflect and connect with their “selves’, The REVEALED Project demonstrates both our singular uniqueness and the common thread we share with one another. The result is the intention of expression as revealed in a wooden box.

 
11 People, 1 Photographer, 1 Box Photographer Scott Indermaur creates one-of-a-kind portraits of 11 individuals who have been given the unique challenge of symbolically capturing their beliefs, essence, and spirituality in a small box. His project, REVEALED and THIS I BELIEVE REVEALED have included 160 subjects from around the country.
